#11 has always been a serious fish, ever since he was an egg. #11’s parents were killed by the fish-who-must-not-be-named. #11 survived the encounter but was left with a mysterious mark on his forehead. Sometimes, when they are sure no one can hear them whisper it, the tadpoles call #11 “the fish who lived.”
